about TGWNN
The Girl With No Name is a blog for women and young girls to not only read but to
explore their true identity through.
who are the girls with no names?
they are the ladies who, for so long, have never known what it means to be themselves truly.
these ladies have lived their lives submitting to the world's standards, which state that to be accepted
means having a certain look. and when failing to achieve that standard, they've been victims of
not being 'enough' whether that's smart enough, talented enough, pretty enough, or funny enough.
she finds herself at a breaking point, shattering every bone in her body and every thought in her mind.
she can't think for herself, or move in any direction she wants to, crippled by fear of making a
mistake that disappoints all those around her she has been trying so desperately hard to please.
she doesn't know who she is because she has been fed all of the nourishment that other people
feed her, telling her to consume more; you're not going to be good enough until you are more.
she doesn't know who to believe, so she releases her grip on herself and searches for a place to hide.
a place where she can find peace and joy in just being who she was created to be.
but in the quiet of that hiding place, she asks:
who was i created to be?
do you find yourself asking this same question?
if yes, then you are the girl or woman who God wants to so desperately redeem.
come alongside me on this journey of self-discovery!
the writers:
TGWNN is written primarily by Cairo White, a 22-year-old female who is navigating a single life but was wrecked by the love of Jesus at the age of 19, resulting in a beautiful testimony to share.
To create a more inclusive storytelling experience, guest writers will include young girls, women, mothers, and wives—each offering their own voice and perspective. The Girl With No Name welcomes every reader, whether you're just beginning your reading journey or you're a wise woman who’s been turning pages for decades!
